Julie Bauman
Julie Bauman has over 24 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Essex Financial as a Senior Relationship Manager, Julie was a Registered Marketing Associate at Smith Barney in Bloomfield Hills, MI. She graduated from Marquette University with a BS in Accounting, and holds the Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
Julie and her family live in Ivoryton.

Liz Haas
Liz Haas is a Senior Registered Relationship Manager with Essex Financial. A 1983 graduate of Hofstra University, Liz began her career in finance with EF Hutton & Company in fixed income research. She later worked for Drexel Burnham Lambert in their commodities department. Upon moving to Connecticut, Liz spent 7 years at Shoreline Financial Advisors. She joined EFS in 2009. Liz holds the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.

Chris Hartmann
Chris Hartmann has over 12 years of experience in client services roles, with 7 of those years in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Essex Financial, Chris was a Client Service Manager at Guilford Savings Bank and a Branch Manager at Webster Bank. He graduated from Royal Holloway University of London, England where he earned his Bachelor of Arts with honors in Media and Communications.
Chris enjoys living on the Connecticut shoreline in Guilford.
Chris supports James Sullivan, Kristin Green and Kevin Looby.

Nicole Konopka
Nicole Konopka is a Relationship Manager with Essex Financial. She graduated from Central Connecticut State University and has over 15 years of experience in client service roles with 5 of those years in the financial industry. Nicole currently holds her State of Connecticut Life Insurance License and is a Licensed Notary Public.
Nicole supports Tony Russo and Anthony Fortuna.

Lisa B. McMinn
Lisa B. McMinn is the Operations Manager with Essex Financial. A 1986 graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, Lisa began her career with Tucker Anthony and RL Day in New Haven, CT, working in various operational capacities. She later became a Registered Sales Assistant with Morgan Stanley in New Haven and Madison. She holds the Series 7, 66 and 24 licenses.

Elena Newman
Elena Newman has 15 years of experience in the financial services industry and wealth management. Prior to joining Essex Financial, Elena worked as a Senior Investment Associate at Bridgewater Associates. She has an MBA from Pace University.
Elena supports Kevin Nolan, Sean Flynn and Nick Naumann.

Pauline Peterson
Pauline Peterson is a Senior Registered Relationship Manager with Essex Financial. She graduated from Bay Path University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Pauline has close to 20 years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining Essex Financial, she spent over a decade with Fidelity Investments serving clients in a variety of roles. She holds the Series 7, 63, 65 securities licenses as well as the State of Connecticut Life Insurance and Variable Contracts Licenses.
Pauline and her husband live in Westbrook, Connecticut.

Courtney Walsh
Courtney Walsh is a Senior Registered Relationship Manager. She graduated from Denison University with a Bachelor’s degree in biology. Courtney has 10 years of experience working in similar roles at Kidder Peabody, Bear Stearns and most recently, Janney Montgomery Scott. Courtney holds her Series 7 and 66 licenses.
